Lakes in a Day 48m 4000m – 11th Oct (with photos)

For most of us the thought of 26 miles for a marathon is daunting never mind 48 miles, but Steph Wilson took it to another level doing 48 miles in the Lake District with 4000m of climbing (that’s more than Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon put together). Starting at 8:00 she finished in the dark 15 hrs 30 minutes later to finish 7th lady – good effort!
