ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Please find attached the agenda for the forthcoming AGM at 8.15pm on Monday 13th of November
Please note that the venue is yet to be finalised - details will be circulated after the committee Meeting on November 1st. As usual the meeting will be after the Monday night runs, which will finish in time to get to the AGM
The Committee places which are up for election this year are noted on the agenda. Please email me, with the names of your proposer and seconder if you wish to stand for any of the posts. Nominations must be received 7 days before the AGM ie by Monday 6th November.
Please consider putting yourself forward. If you would like any information about any of the posts please speak to the current post holder or any committee member. As only some of the posts change over each year there will always be support from existing committee members for new recruits.
We look forward to seeing you all at the AGM
Best wishes
Alun Griffiths (secretary) on behalf of the committee.
Secretary needed!
At the end of this year I will have done two 3 year terms as club secretary and so am not eligible for reelection. This means we need someone to step up and take on this important behind the scenes role.
Secretary is one of the links with England Athletics and other bodies, so gets information from them which may need passing on to other committee members.
The main job is sending out agendas and taking minutes for committee meetings the AGM and keeping these records. In this and all other things they will be supported by the other committee members.
I will still be around for support if needed (but will be happy to keep out of the way if preferred!)
If you think you could take this on (or would like to suggest somebody who will be good but is shy) come and have a word or email me.
Thanks
Alun Griffiths (alun@gxn.co.uk)

Senior Entry Information
The PECO Cross Country League is a series of 5 cross country races organised in and around Leeds in which clubs affiliated to the League compete across men's and ladies divisions. Each race is about 4-5 miles.
The only way to enter the race series is to buy a season ticket online in advance for just £18, which provides entry to all five races. Once registered and paid for, you will not need to register again all season. The price of the season ticket will reduce to £10 after race 3 is complete, (ie to include race 4 and race 5). After race 4 the price will reduce to £7 for those entering race 5.
You will collect your season race number from you club representative, either in advance, or at the first race you attend. Then you just turn up to each race with your number and run.
All entrants will be allocated a race number (with timing chip) which they must keep for the whole season. Replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £3 for seniors.
RULES FOR ENTRY:
1. The league is exclusive to the clubs that are members of the PECO XC league.
2. All competitors must be paid up members of a club which is affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race.
3. Club members must be affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race If you are in any doubt about whether you are currently affiliated to EA, please contact your club membership secretary and/or email bob@pecoxc.co.uk.
4. Affiliated members of non-League clubs may run as guests.
5. Unattached runners are NOT permitted to participate.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER ON THE DAY, then you will be defined as a "guest" and will not contribute to your team score or individual cumulative points total. Only advance entries will be League "counters".
