Bradford Millennium Way relay

It seems like ages ago now, but a big thank-you to everyone who helped out and ran.  The weekend was a great sucess with a record 42 teams.  The Dutch and Belgian visitors all seemed to really enjoy themselves again.  Next years race will be on June 14th so put it in your diary.

Baildon Beer Festival

We are planning on going to the Baildon Beer festival at the Junction pub (bottom of the hill up to Baildon) on Friday 25th July followed by a curry in Shipley.  Everyone is welcome (men and ladies and partners) meet 7:30.

Glorious 12th

On Tuesday 12th August we are planning a club run with a difference.  We will catch the train from Baildon to Ilkley and run back to Esholt over the moors.  The train leaves Baildon at 7:00 so meet at Esholt at 6:40 or at Baildon station at 6:55.  Don't forget £2.20 for the fare. Don't be late cos the train won't wait.

Leeds Country Way relay

The Leeds Country Way relay is on Sunday 31st August.  If you would like to run please let me know ASAP.  I think we should try and get a mens team, ladies team and a mixed team out - although that might be stretching the resources!!

Canadian Cross-Country Championships

Airedale Athletics (St. Bede's, Eccleshill Runners and Bradford-Airedale) have the opportunity to enter the Canadian cross-country championships in Toronto on 29th November.  We have been offered free accommodation and will just need to find the air fare and spending money.  The fare will probably be £300 - £350.  If you are interested and want more details contact Mick Brearley (mbrearley@ventura-uk.com)
