St. Bede's A.C. E-News

Welcome to the first St. Bede's E-news - bringing you the latest news from Esholt and beyond!

This weekend 10 men and 3 ladies braved the freezing conditions to complete the Stoop fell race from Penistone Hill.  Neil lloyd showed a return to good form finishing 2nd St. Bede's man with Mick Twyman also putting in a strong performance.   Louise McGechaen lead home the ladies with a good performance.

The next race is the Chevin Chase on 26th which usually provides a good turn out of Bede's runners.  Entries are now closed and there are no entries on the day, but if you feel like blowing off the cobwebs then why not get up to the Royalty on top of the Chevin and give us a shout on.  Runners usually meet in the Station pub in Guiseley after the race for a festive drink.

There is training as normal on Tuesday 27th - so get down to Esholt and run off a few of those excess pounds.

Congratulations to Jayne Harte and Paul Watts who were drawn to receive the club places for the 2006 London Marathon - the bad news is the hard work starts now.

The Auld Lang Syne fell race takes place on 31st Dec. again from Penistone Hill.  The next West Yorkshire Winter League race is on Jan 8th at Bramley Falls Wood.
