Club Trip to Red Lion, Burnsall – Friday 5th July

For those who’ve not been before, we travel by coach to somewhere near Burnsall and then have a sociable run of about 6 miles (shoter option available) to the Red Lion followed by a meal and drinks.

This years trip is on Friday 5th July meet at Shipley Bus Station 5 30 pm for the coach to take us up to the drop off point for runners and to the Red Lion in Burnsall for any walkers or drinkers as that is our venue for our meal. On returning the coach will leave the pub about 11pm dropping people off at various points arriving back at Shipley Bus Station around 12am. There will be a room for the ladies to get changed, the guys use the river this year I predict a heat wave.
We have a 49 seater coach so its first come first served policy
The price for all this fun is £30 pp

Fillet of cod with a spinach and clam chowder, Crushed new potatoes with broadbeans
and leeks topped with grilled halloumi and asparagus, tomato and red pepper sauce
Lentil and sundried sausage ratatouille goats cheese croustade

Desert

A light fresh Lemon Tart Lemon Sorbet
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla ice-cream
Hot chocolate sponge and honey sauce vanilla ice-cream
Creme brulee with strawberries and raspberries
