Peco League dates/venues announced

The dates for the 5 Peco League cross-country races for the 2013/2014 season have been published, with both our mens and ladies teams competing in the Premier league following the ladies teams promotion after last years successful campaign

Unfortunately, the 4th race clashes with the club trip to Barcelona so anyone who’s not going to Barcelona we’ll need you out to make sure we don’t fall too far behind. We are also hosting the final race, probably at Northcliffe, so will need volunteers to help with marshalling as well as plenty of people to run.

Race 1: Sun 24th November at Temple Newsham, Leeds (hosted by Kippax Harriers, assisted by STAC)
Race 2: Sun 15th December at Golden Acre Park (hosted by Abbey Runners, assisted by Ilkley Harriers)
Race 3: Sun 12th January at Middleton Park, Leeds (hosted by Rothwell Harriers, assisted by Ackworth RR)
Race 4: Sun 16th February at Danefield Country Park (hosted by Valley Striders, assisted by Airecentre Pacers)
Race 5: Sun 2nd March at Northcliffe Park (hosted by Saltaire Striders, assisted by Eccleshill RR)’A’ team score

The first 8 men from each club count to the ‘A’ team score (5 counters for ladies) with the next 8 counting to the ‘B’ team score, but everyones contribution counts because you can finish in front of opposition counters and make their score higher.
